The 2107 Range of Light Gypsy Tour kicked off at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds at Angels Camp, located in the historic 49er gold country of California, and went over 300 miles ending at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn. The route for day 2 ran close to 300 miles and ended at The Lassen County Fairgrounds in Susanville.
This last year the ROL took place during a heat wave and the Day 1 route had a slight detour due to a wildfire. But that didn't stop 200+ die-hard participants from enjoying some of the most scenic riding on some of the best roads of the Sierra Nevada mountain range of Northern California. And the GS options were great and really appreciated by those seeking a break from the asphalt.
A huge thanks is due to all the volunteers that helped with this year's event! We couldn't do it without you. Also a huge thanks goes out to the fairgrounds that hosted us - we appreciate our time at your facilities!
The Range of Light Gypsy Tour is an event not to be missed, look for information for next year's event in the spring. For more information or volunteer positions contact the Nick Gloyd, ROL Chair at firstname.lastname@example.org
